Maimeri first saw the light of day in 1923, and was founded in a combination of artistic interest and techniques from painter Gianni Maimeri and his brother Carlos chemical knowledge. The first series of oil paints, the A series, was put into production in 1925. The company grew rapidly and has since produced both various series of water, tempera and oil paints as well as powder pigments for artists, a wide range of auxiliary products, palettes, brushes and other accessories.
