Based on the old DIN 201 standard, this set contains nine Horadam colors, which were previously used by architects, technical draughtsmen and cadastral offices to create technical drawings. An interesting detail: each color represents a specific building material and its application (e.g. orange for bronze and wood, purple for cast iron, dark green for light metals or wire coils and grey for concrete and stone masonry).

Anyone who uses these colors for artistic rather than technical purposes will quickly notice that all the selected watercolors are not only very harmonious and versatile on their own, but also provide a wide variety of other brilliant hues when mixed. In addition to the special retro look, this historic box thus also provides the perfect basis for all applications in modern watercolor painting.
