Da Vinci has collaborated with the renowned Brazilian artist Ari de Goes Jr. to create a brush set tailored to his very specific needs. The set includes one of each: Series 188 Extra-Fine No. 7, Series 498 Washing Brush No. 4, and Series 1290 Rigger No. 4, packaged in transparent BIO-PET packaging.
In recent years, Ari de Goes Jr. has garnered significant attention for his artwork, including internationally, and has personally selected the brushes for his set: the DARTANA-SPIN, with its extremely long tip that allows for a wide range of lines from broad to fine, the CASANEO wash brush in size 4 for its color-retention capacity, and the CASANEO rigger for precise strokes. As he himself says: “My set provides in my watercolors, exactly what I need for washes, precise structures and thin lines. Enjoy it!”
The CASANEO brushes in the set feature extra-soft synthetic fibers with exceptional elasticity and extremely high color-absorbing capacity, while the DARTANA-SPIN brush, with its characteristic long, fine tip, is ideal for blending and drawing thin lines. The brushes feature a lacquered wood handle ( Short ) and a French-bound or silver-bound tip ( Ferulle ). Ideal for watercolor painting on watercolor paper—a signature set for artists who work with textures, transitions, and fine details.
