Canson Montval watercolour block 300gr
Canson Montval Watercolour Block is very easy to use and easy to correct mistakes on as the paper can be washed with a brush. All in all a good and popular standard paper.
The Montval paper was designed by the artist Gaspard Maillol, nephew of the sculptor Aristide Maillol, and produced by Canson at his request in the early 20th century. Since then, watercolour paper has been improved: it is acid-free, long-lasting, treated against moulding and all this without the use of optical bleaches.
Canson Montval watercolour paper contains acid-free, 200 or 300 gram creamy white paper with a medium rough texture, glued in one direction only.
The block is available in many sizes.
